#46 A Guest Review of Wentworth Hall by Abby Grahame

Yesterday, my newest review for the Austenprose blog went live.  This time it was for Abby Grahame’s debut novel Wentworth Hall.  A young adult novel that can be described as a glamorous hybrid of Persuasion, Downton Abbey, and Gossip Girl.

It chronicles the lives of the Darling family, one of the strongest families in England during the Edwardian Era.  All is not as it seems at the Hall: there are secrets, lies, deceit, and more threatening to destroy this powerful family.  Throw into the mix storylines of unrequited/lost love and the mixing of social classes and you’re in for a real treat.

P.S. How AWESOME of a cover is that?!

This is my twenty-second completed review for the Historical Fiction Challenge
